TEQUILA CLASSICS

There isn't a spirit that is requested for shots more often than tequila. It's one of the healthiest and cleanest liquors you can drink.

Rumor has it that if you only drink 100% blue agave blanco tequila, you won't have a hangover. I've never tested it...

O tequila, savage water of sorcery, what confusion and mischief your sly, rebellious drops do generate.

Tequila, lime, grapefruit,

simple syrup, grapefruit soda

2 oz Tequila

1/2 oz fresh lime juice

1/2 oz fresh grapefruit juice

1/2 oz simple syrup

grapefruit soda

(ex. Squirt, Fresca, Jarritos Grapefruit, San Pellegrino Pompelo, Spindrift Grapefruit)

Add all ingredients, except for the soda, in a cocktail shaker. Short shake with ice and dump the contents into a double rocks or highball glass. Add ice and top off with grapefruit soda, roughly  2 oz.

Optional: salt the rim, or add a pinch of salt into the shaker before you shake.

Tequila, Triple Sec, Lime, Agave, Salt

2 oz Tequila

3/4 oz Triple Sec (recommend Cointreau)

1 oz lime juice

1/4 oz agave (or simple syrup)

Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake with ice. Strain into a glass full of ice.

Garnish with a lime wheel. Optionally, add salt to the rim.

To add salt to the rim, rub a lime around the edge of the glass and roll into salt.

You can optionally also just add a pinch of salt before you shake (that's what I do).
